thanksgiving in arizona

I have to be one of the slowest bloggers I know. I will try to be better... :)

So for Thanksgiving Stephen and I went to Scottsdale, Arizona with Stephen's family. We stayed in a really pretty house and had fun hanging out with the family. We took most of the day preparing the grand Thanksgiving meal, and of course, we ate tons.

On black friday, Stephen, Mitch, Kristen, and Justin were smart to avoid the crazy shopping and decided to go golfing instead. It was a beautiful day outside and the weather was perfect for golfing. Julie, Kari, and I decided to face the packs of people and go shopping....we had to get our free Costco cook book! :) It was fun to be out and about and getting good deals!
Later that night we went shifter kart racing and it was a blast! These are no go-karts, they get up to 100 mph and are pretty intense. The boys were natural pros...and the girls were able to pick it up after a few runs around the track. Well, for me it took a lot longer to get the hang of. I kept stalling the little kart all the time! ha!

It was a great trip and we were not so excited to return to a snow storm up in Utah.
