Our Latest Happenings

June 24th was our two month anniversary...things still seem to be going by so fast. Living it Utah is a great experience and we are having so much fun living in our cute little place. I have been doing some little craft projects to decorate it up a bit, so it's looking a lot better. I might have to get some opinions on what to do with a few blank walls.

This is a cake I made for Stephen for our anniversary...yummy funfetti!Stephen started the summer term, while I am taking an online marriage/family class. Though it is summer and there are so many fun things to do, we try going up to campus so that we can get some studying in.
Stephen got hungry, so I brought him up a cheese quesadilla. :)
We went and saw Eclipse...and no not on the opening night. Kinzie, David, and I learned the hard way that you don't want to go to the Twilight movies on opening night. There are too many little girls screaming when Edward or Jacob walk onto the screen for the first time, or now when Jacob takes off his shirt..ha. Instead we went the second, less busy night. We both thought the movie was good. The Twilight saga is progressively getting better.

I promise that Stephen was really excited too.
On the 3rd of July, we watched the firework show put on by the Stadium of Fire event. We live very close to the stadium and if we wanted to we could have just watched the fireworks from our apartment window. To have the full effect though, we walked over to Helaman Halls and lied down on a blanket to watch them. Fireworks are so much fun!
