a birthday celebration

stephen had a birthday yesterday and we were so excited to celebrate. stephen somehow always knows what presents he is going to get so there is no surprising him there, but i was able to surprise him with a few decorations and a cake. i used some of my few domestic skills and sewed up some simple garland. what we were most excited about was being able to go to a movie. it's one of those luxuries you don't fully appreciate until you have children. we all had a great day!
