a morning in dallas

we spent a morning in dallas trying to experience some of the many things the city has to offer. eating breakfast at bread winners cafe was the perfect way to start the morning. their banana bread french toast is amazing! we toured a few of the museums where emer decided he would prefer to just be near the water. it was good to see a little more of the city and hopefully we can make it down there more often. 

grapevine lake

emer is our little water bug and would love to be in the water most of the day if we let him. we went on a drive to grapevine lake and quickly found out that he would also love to walk straight into the lake. it was funny to watch him try to get in the water until he would cry because we wouldn't let him in. the last picture is him letting us know how unhappy he is that we didn't let him in!

a fall update

^^^unofficial church trunk-or-treat a few days before halloween and emer couldn't contain his excitement. this was the most normal picture of him that we got and he is still clapping his hands.^^^

^^^for halloween emer was frankenstein and he looked so cute crawling around in his costume. he was very interested in all of the trick-or-treaters and would quickly crawl to the door when it was opened.^^^

zoo day

a few weeks ago i tagged along with kinzie and her two boys for a day at the zoo.

brenner was in some sort of animal heaven....

while i think everett just enjoyed looking at all the people.

just in case you were asking, yes i am kinzie's sister.

and no i am not her nanny. :)

stephen's 25th

stephen turned 25 on the 24th of september.

we had a great time celebrating his birthday, complete with fun decorations, presents, dinner at bj's, and some oreo ice cream cake.

...oh and can i say how cute he is in his birthday hat! 

he was even a good enough sport to wear it out to dinner. :)

family reunion disc golf

if you follow our blog at all, you might notice that we like to play disc golf when we get together.

our family stayed at the canyons and there just happened to be a great disc golf course there.

...so of course during the family reunion we had to play a little bit.

while we played, the kids had fun hiking around and exploring the mountain.

we loved having mom around provo for a few days.

mom and dad are out here to help move skyler and jill to texas...

we are all excited that skyler and jill will be moving to dallas for skyler's new job!

disneyland!

every time i go to a disney park i feel like such a little kid.

i absolutely love the whole experience and i get so excited!

...the happiest place on earth, right?

stephen and i got to go to disneyland with julie this last week and had such a wonderful time.

we especially liked the world of color show that we saw towards the end of the day.
