a blessing day for emer stephen hill

stephen gave emer a beautiful blessing in church on april 14th.

i am so grateful for a wonderful husband and our newest little addition.

emer has been such a sweet blessing in our home and he has already taught us so much.

we are grateful to our Heavenly Father for sending us a beautiful spirit. 

we were happy to have stephen's parents, brother, grandpa, and my sister in town for the blessing.

our good friends james and melanie were also able to make it to the blessing.

it was such a beautiful day to spend with family and friends.

homecomings

we had an amazing weekend in california visiting the hills.

stephen's brother scott returned home from his LDS mission to south africa.

it was so good to see scott and to hear him report on his mission.
also, kristen returned home after working abroad in france for a year and a half.
it's nice to have the whole family back together again!

today president monson spoke at the byu devotional.

he gave an amazing talk about gaining your own testimony and then being a good example of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints.

also, we had the first snow of this winter...so not ready for it.

bones

we attended a ward halloween party with the zelnicks and they had a pretty creative costume.

they were "occupy wall street" with mel as the 99% and james as the 1%.

we, on the other hand, were some sweet skeletons...that is me trying to look my scariest.

we are also pretty excited that our show "bones" will be starting back up this week.

general conference

general conference this weekend was great.

it was wonderful to hear from our leaders.

we were able to attend a session of conference with family and some close friends.

forget-me-not

katie and i went to the general relief society meeting together this past saturday.

i loved president uchtdorf's talk about the forget-me-not flower.

it was great to hear from some of our leaders and i'm that much more excited about the rest of conference.

after the broadcast, katie and i went to texas roadhouse, and it was amazing! 

later that night, stephen and i went out to get a molten cake from chili's for stephen's birthday.
