playing catch-up

We have done poorly on blogging this summer, so here is a little bit of a summary so far.

TEXAS
Stephen and I went to Dallas half-way through May to surprise the Neibaur parents.
...and believe me, they were surprised!! :)
Stephen also had a few internship interviews with three of the Big Four Public Accounting Firms.
He got a couple of offers, but we decided to go with PricewaterhouseCoopers starting in January.
We are both excited to be in Dallas next winter!
While Stephen was still in Utah, I made a marshmallow tower for my Mom's seminary class activity.
(Well...I made it after the fact.)
Somehow it kinda resembles this picture of me trying on my wedding dress. :)
We had fun playing with K & B...
...and they had fun playing with Photo Booth.
...apparently, Kinzie did too. :)
Stephen and I also liked going to the different Hotels that the firms put him up in.
We especially liked the W Hotel that has an infinity pool on the 16th floor and it was right next to the American Airlines Center.
We had a great time in Dallas being with Mom, Dad, Kinz, David, and the kids.

LAS VEGAS
On the drive from Utah to California for another one of Stephen's internships we decided to stop in Vegas.
We stayed at the Bellagio and walked around in the night life.

CALIFORNIA
Driving to California was long, but a lot of fun.
We listened to music, had some interesting conversations, and enjoyed the scenery.

CALIFORNIA
For my birthday, Stephen took me to this really good little breakfast place.
We both ate way too much!
Later, Stephen took me shopping, out to dinner, and then to the new Pirates movie.
Thanks Babe!
Our first weekend in California, Justin had a soccer tournament.
We went to all of his games and enjoyed watching him play.
His team ended up winning the tournament.

The hunt is over...

I finally got a job!! :) My old roommate, Justen, was able to get me an interview at the place where she works. I went in for an interview and then had my second "interview" yesterday. The second one consisted of the manager telling me that they wanted to hire me. Great news! I will be the full-time receptionist at Stevens-Henager College.
